Acceptable Use

• Attempt to reverse-engineer our challenge algorithms or bypass security measures
• Use our services for illegal activities or to violate applicable laws
• Submit protocols you do not own or have proper authorization to test
• Share your account access with unauthorized third parties

Compliance

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
• Ensure your protocol meets relevant regulatory requirements
• Obtain necessary permissions before submitting third-party code
• Respect intellectual property rights of others

No Security Guarantees

• Our services identify known vulnerability patterns and simulate common attacks
• No security assessment can guarantee the absence of all vulnerabilities
• New attack vectors and vulnerabilities may emerge after validation
• Your protocol may still be vulnerable to undiscovered or emerging threats

Testing Environment

• All testing is performed in isolated, sandboxed environments
• We do not interact with mainnet or production systems
• Test results may not reflect all real-world deployment conditions
• You are responsible for secure deployment and ongoing maintenance

Report Accuracy

• Reports reflect findings at the time of testing with provided code
• We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee error-free reports
• False positives and false negatives may occur
• You should independently verify critical findings

Your Code and Content

• You retain all ownership rights to your smart contracts and protocol code
• You grant us a limited license to test, analyze, and report on your code
• We may use anonymized findings for research and platform improvement
• Your specific code and findings remain confidential unless you consent otherwise

Knektz Platform and Services

• Knektz owns all rights to our platform, algorithms, and challenge frameworks
• Our reports and analysis are provided under license for your use
• You may not reverse-engineer our testing methodologies
• The Knektz name, logo, and branding are our protected trademarks

Knektz Verified Badge

• The Knektz Verified badge is our proprietary certification mark
• Usage rights are granted only to qualifying protocols per our criteria
• Badge usage must comply with our brand guidelines
• We reserve the right to revoke badge privileges for policy violations

Fees and Payment

• Current pricing is available on our website and subject to change
• Payment is required before service delivery unless otherwise agreed
• All fees are non-refundable unless required by applicable law
• You are responsible for all taxes associated with your payments

Subscription Services

• QAaaS subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Price changes will be communicated 30 days in advance
• Continued use after price changes constitutes acceptance

Limitation of Liability

• Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific service
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for losses resulting from undiscovered vulnerabilities
• You acknowledge that security validation cannot eliminate all risks

Your Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Knektz from claims arising from:

• Your use of our services or violation of these Terms
• Your protocol's deployment, operation, or any security incidents
• Infringement of third-party rights by your submitted code
• Your failure to implement recommended security fixes

Security Incidents

• We are not responsible for security breaches or attacks on your protocol
• You remain solely responsible for your protocol's security in production
• Knektz validation does not guarantee hack-proof protocols
• You should maintain appropriate insurance and risk management practices

Your Confidential Information

• We treat your smart contract code and findings as confidential information
• We implement appropriate safeguards to protect your confidential data
• We will not disclose your specific information without your consent
• Our team members are bound by confidentiality obligations

Permitted Uses

• We may use anonymized data for research and platform improvement
• Aggregated statistics may be shared publicly (without identifying information)
• We may disclose information if required by law or court order
• Vulnerability patterns may inform our challenge development (anonymized)

Termination Rights

• Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days written notice
• We may immediately suspend services for violations of these Terms
• You may cancel subscriptions through your account dashboard
• Completed validation services remain valid after termination

Effect of Termination

• Your access to the platform will be disabled
• Outstanding fees become immediately due
• We will return or destroy your confidential information as requested
• Knektz Verified badges may be revoked at our discretion

Modifications

• We may update these Terms periodically with reasonable notice
• Material changes will be communicated via email and platform notifications
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms
• If you disagree with changes, you may terminate your account

General Provisions

• If any provision is invalid, the remainder of these Terms remain in effect
• These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties
• No waiver of any provision unless in writing and signed
• You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent
